Annual General Meeting of Members

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Rule 25(1) of the Pakenham and District Basketball Association Inc. Constitution that an Annual General Meeting of the members of Pakenham and District Basketball Association Inc. will be held:

When:      Wednesday 20th October 2021 at 6:30pm
Where:     Join in via video online with online voting in accordance with Rule 29 of the Pakenham and District Basketball Association Inc. Constitution  – details to register will be supplied.

Note: The AGM is a non-attendance in person meeting

All Members of the Associations are entitled to attend the online meeting.

Notice of Business
Any Member wishing to raise matters of business for discussion at the meeting must give written notice of the business, using the link below, to the Secretary at least ten (10) days before the meeting (excluding receiving date and meeting date).  Only the Board Member or a Member may submit a notice of motion.

Notice of business received after 5.00pm on 10th October 2021 will not be considered.

Nominations for Elected Directors
Nominations for the positions of seven (7) Elected Directors of the Board, 4 positions for a 2 year term and 3 positions for a 1 year term, must be lodged on the form using the link below and be received by the Secretary at least fourteen (14) days before the meeting.

Nominations received after 5.00pm on  6th October 2021 will not be considered.

PDBA Notice of Special General Meeting

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Rule 33 (1) of the Pakenham and District Basketball Association Inc.  Constitution that a Special General Meeting of the members of Pakenham and District Basketball Association Inc. will be held:

When:      Wednesday 28th July 2021 at 7pm
Where:     Officer Community Hub, 2 Parker Street, Officer, VIC, 3809

All Members are entitled to attend the meeting.  Voting entitlements are in accordance with Rule 36 of the Pakenham and District Basketball Association Inc. Constitution.

Notice of Business

A Special Resolution from The Committee of the Pakenham and District Basketball Association Inc. whereby the new Pakenham and District Basketball Association Inc. Constitution will be put to Members for acceptance.

Seeking feedback – PDBA draft constitution

Proposed new Pakenham and District Basketball Association Inc. Constitution

The Committee of the Pakenham and District Basketball Association Inc (PDBA) is pleased to advise that a draft of the proposed new constitution is now available for review.

The draft of the new proposed constitution can be found here by clicking here.

Feedback on the draft version of the proposed constitution is welcome and we ask that all feedback be sent via email to committee@pakenhambasketball.com.au. All feedback will be accepted until 5:00pm 28th May 2021.

The final version of the constitution is planned for release shortly thereafter along with details of a proposed Special General Meeting whereby a motion to accept the constitution will put forward by the committee.

2020 PBDA Annual General Meeting

The 2020 Annual General Meeting of the Pakenham & District Basketball Association Inc. will be held at 11:00am, Sunday 28th February 2021.

It will be held at the Officer Community Hub, 2 Parker St, Officer VIC 3809

You must register your attendance by 5:00pm 21st February using the registration link below. This registration is to enable any COVID compliance requirements to be managed according to local authorities and guidelines.
